It was a good day here. Afrox, a cooking gas company which donates all the gas to the Tlamelo Project sponsored a day outing for the kids of the Project. They took them to the Gaborone Game Reserve. Today was the farewell Sunday for the TREK team. It seems that they are good at giving farewells here. It was a real celebration with singing, dancing, lots of food, an excellent sermon, and we showed a slide show of the several pictures the Trek team and I have taken over the past three and a half months. While they were here we had a sports camp for the children and training for the youth, which is made up of the High School age students. It was a very good week. It has been good to see the youth of our church in Old Naledi grow closer together and support each other.

I had planned on going to see the showing of Amandla! A Revolution in Four Part Harmony which is about the freedom songs in Aparthied South Africa. Instead, I was invited to a concert that ran later than planned and I missed the movie. The concert, however, was well worth it. The group was an Anglican choir from Uganda. This month has proven to be no exception. Of course, the madness that has come here in Botswana has little to do with college hoops as it normally would.
